Select Page > Properties > Basic.

Description: This field is often used for BOTH the meta description tag AND internal search results/teasers.

SEO Description: Some customized AEM implementations split this into a separate field to allow a different text for Google vs Internal Search.

When this page appears in a 'List' or 'Teaser' component on another page, it typically uses the 'Description' property.

If you change the Description for SEO optimization (stuffing keywords), ensure it still looks good in your site's visual cards.
