Method 1: The 'SEO Package' Way (Recommended)

Install Package

Go to Packages section in Umbraco Backoffice.

Search for 'SEO Toolkit' or 'uSeo'.

Install the package.

This will automatically add a 'SEO' tab to your Document Types with Title, Meta Description, and Open Graph fields.

Configure Document Types

Settings > Document Types.

Select your 'Home' or 'Article' page type.

Add the 'SEO' composition (from the installed package).

Method 2: Custom Implementation (Developer)

For complete control. Requires creating properties and editing Razor views.

Step 1: Context Property

Settings > Document Types > Select your Master/Base document type.

Add a new tab called 'SEO'.

Add a property: Label 'Browser Title', Alias browserTitle, Editor 'Textstring'.

Make it optional (so you can fallback to the Page Name).

Step 2: Update Master View

Settings > Templates > Open your Master layout file (e.g., _Layout.cshtml).

Find the <title> tag.

Replace it with logic to check for the custom title:
