Historically, Wix did not allow robots.txt editing. As of recent updates (late 2021+), you CAN now edit it via the SEO Dashboard.

Access Editor

Go to Dashboard > Marketing & SEO > SEO > SEO Settings

Scroll down to 'Robots.txt File'

Click 'Edit'

You can view the default rules (which are good) and add custom 'Disallow' rules

Wix blocks common resource files (like API endpoints) by default to save crawl budget. Do not remove these unless you know what you are doing.
