Wix uses a drag-and-drop text editor. You must manually assign Heading tags (H1, H2) to text elements.

Set Heading Level

Click on any text element

Click 'Edit Text'

In the popup, look for 'Themes' (it might say 'Heading 1' or 'Paragraph 1')

CRITICAL: The 'Theme' style does NOT always match the HTML tag

Scroll down in the Text Settings popup to 'SEO & Accessibility'

Select the correct HTML Tag (H1, H2, P)

Wix users often style text as 'Heading 1' visually but leave the HTML tag as 'P'
